Life is but a dream, but only once in a lifetime.

Soooo, I don’t normally post personal blog things here, just stupid pictures…but the following pictures need a bit of explanation.

At the weekend, something incredible happened. I had a genuine dream come true, and a full on once in a lifetime experience.  It’s the first time that anything as crazy as this has ever happened to me and I genuinely feel like I could cry every time I think about it!  I know I might sound crazy and stupid but it all still seems soooo unreal.

So.  I had booked my tickets to see Beyonce with the girls in Birmingham on Saturday night.  Me and my pal were going to be standing and my two other friends were sitting.  We got a text that morning to say that one of our friends was working at the gig and could get us a tour of the arena.  Unfortunately, we arrived too late for that…but he said he would try his best to get us into the Beyhive…..we thought this was some sort of VIP party….but no. It was better than any of us could ever have expected.

The Beyhive was a little platform right at the side of the stage.  Like, we had our hands on the stage.  We were infront of the front row.

I was overwhelmed. I cannot describe it.  I am still speechless when I think about it.  To go to the concert was one thing…like I couldn’t believe I was going to hear Beyonce sing live…but to actually be standing mere feet away from her…it was too much.

I think Beyonce is incredible, and I don’t care what anyone else thinks! She is mindblowingly talented.  You can hear that by listening to her…but also, when you think of it from a technical singing point of view…she is flawless.

So, when she came on stage I genuinely couldn’t move.  It was my first experience of being genuinely and completely dumbfounded.  I was completely blown away.

This is how close I was to her….this is not a screen…this was real life…

It was beyond anything I have ever imagined.  She was perfect up close. She was astonishing live.  Even as I type this, I actually can’t think of the words to describe it.  Maybe in a couple of days I will, and I’ll can write something more coherent than this…

So, at the end, she was belting out “Halo” and she comes walking down the stairs right in front of me, honestly, it was eye contact central.  And she starts shaking everyones hand.  So this happened….

I feel so stupid for being like “OMG I TOUCHED BEYONCES HAND” I mean, she is only a person and it is only a hand…but to be THAT close to someone that I completely idolise…it truly is overwhelming….and to share it with some of the best friends in the world…I honestly couldn’t ask for more.

It all does feel like a dream really.

And now my head is just like BEYONCE BEYONCE BEYONCE BEYONCE and I can’t get anything done.
